Saudi Cabinet licenses NBE to launch operations in Kingdom

The Saudi Cabinet, in a meeting chaired today by King Salman bin Abdulaziz, approved the licensing of National Bank of Egypt (NBE) to open a branch in the Kingdom.

 

The Cabinet also authorized the Minister of Finance to consider any subsequent request from the bank to open other branches, SPA reported.

 

Meanwhile, the Cabinet approved the regulation of Digital Content Council, and the cancellation of the National Committee for the Regulation of Ethical Content and Information Technology.

 

Moreover, the Cabinet endorsed the final account for the Agricultural Development Fund for a previous fiscal year.
