Ministry of Commerce directs workers, visitors of malls to wear masks, adhere to social distancing

Abdulrahman Al-Hussain, spokesperson for the Saudi Ministry of Commerce, said that all workers and visitors in open and closed places, including malls, shopping centers and commercial establishments are required to wear masks and adhere to social distancing measures starting from Dec. 30.

 

Saudi Arabia announced today, Dec. 29, reimposing mask rules and social distancing measures in all closed and open places, in addition to events and activities, as of 7 am tomorrow, Dec. 30, according to an official source at the Ministry of Interior.

 

The decision was taken as the number of COVID-19 infections is on the rise.
