Maharah’s Growth Avenue gets competition authority’s nod for acquisition of Shifa

Maharah Human Resources Co.’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Growth Avenue Co., received, on Jan. 6, a no-objection letter from the General Authority for Competition (GAC) on completing the acquisition of Arabian Shifa Medical Co., Maharah said in a statement to Tadawul.

 

The deal closure and transfer of stake is subject to the approval of the relevant authorities.

 

 

Maharah will announce any future development in due course, the statement added.

 

On Dec. 7, 2021, Growth Avenue signed a sale-purchase agreement to acquire 85% stake in Arabian Shifa, specialized in home healthcare services and operation of medical centers
