Thimar appoints new board member

Thimar Development Holding Co. appointed Walid bin Abdulaziz Al Shuwaier as an independent board member, effective as of Feb. 14, according to a bourse filing.

Al Shuwaier will replace the resigning board member, Ibrahim Al Shabib, the company added.

The appointment is pending the approval of the company's upcoming general assembly.

Al-Shuwaier is a member of the company’s executive committee. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering from King Saud University. He has more than 22 years of experience in major agricultural companies, production companies, agricultural projects and equipment, during which he held multiple leading positions.
