Ziad Murtaja, CEO of Al Moammar Information Systems Co.

Al Moammar Information Systems Co.’s (MIS) business volume is expected to grow in the coming years, supported by its initiatives, CEO Ziad Murtaja told Argaam.

The company is still looking to launch new initiatives after studying the market's needs in light of the endeavors undertaken by the government.

On the sidelines of the ICT Indicators Forum 2022, the CEO said that MIS launched seven initiatives in 2021, most notably the launch of data centers in partnership with Saudi Fransi Capital, the establishment of a medical firm, etc.

He added that the company established six data centers in the first phase, indicating that the designs have been completed and land plots finalized to build the centers.

MIS is currently finalizing contractors as it is evaluating bids until the construction phases are launched. The handover of these centers will be in the middle of 2023.

The company is expected to award the contract for the first phase within the next two weeks, with these centers to be delivered by mid-2023.

Murtaja said that the capital hike by capitalizing the retained earnings gives shareholders greater confidence in the company, which is in an excellent financial position, in addition to developing the company's business.

He explained that profit margins are one of the most important performance indicators in the company, but are the biggest concern for operations, given that competition is fierce today, as there are new players, including those supported by the Public Investment Fund (PIF).

MIS is keen to work with its strategic customers through an integrated system by providing product or product-associated services.

In addition, the firm continuously evaluates expenses and costs to take advantage of the existing capabilities, whether offered by technology, such as automation of specific work and operations, or by utilizing upcoming technologies that help MIS become a pioneer in it.
