Sipchem completes IAC plant maintenance, starts operations

Sahara International Petrochemical Co. (Sipchem) announced that it completed today, June 21, the scheduled periodic maintenance of its International Acetyl Co. (IAC) plant and started operations, according to a bourse statement.

 

During the turnaround, all the required works were completed according to the scheduled plan, which will enhance the plants’ efficiency and increase its reliability. This will also help achieve the company’s operational plans.

 

The financial impact of this turnaround will be reflected in the company’s Q2 2022 results.

 

Sipchem took the necessary actions to eliminate any potential impact on its customers.

 

Sipchem earlier announced that IAC plant will be shut down for scheduled maintenance as of June 2, according to data available with Argaam.
