Alasmak names new board member

Saudi Fisheries Co.’s (Alasmak) board of directors approved, on July 4, appointing Abdul Rahman Al Owais (non- executive), as representative of the Saudi Agricultural Investment and Animal Production Co. (SALIC) to the board, to complete the current board term, ending on Oct. 24, 2023.

 

Al-Owais joins the board of directors today, July 5, the company said in a statement to Tadawul.

 

He holds MBA from the University of Manchester. He currently works as CEO of Shared Services for SALIC, a board member of Alkhorayef Water and Power Technologies Co., Third Milling Co., Minerva Foods Australia and Chairman of the NRC for Al-Khorayef Water and power technologies Company.

 

Previously, Al-Owais worked as Undersecretary in the Ministry of Finance, Shared Services Vice President at National Water Co. and General Manager of the Eastern Province at Almarai Co.

 

The appointment is subject to the approval of the upcoming general assembly meeting, Alasmak added.
