ACWA Power starts operating NAQA'A Desalination Plant with 681,900-m3/day production cap

ACWA Power Co. announced today, Aug. 10, the start of operation of NAQA'A Desalination Plant in Umm Al Quwain, UAE, with a production capacity of 681,900 cubic meters (m3) of desalinated water per day.

 

ACWA Power, in a statement to Tadawul, indicated ownership of a 40% stake in NAQA'A Desalination Plant.

 

The energy giant sees the financial impact of operating the project’s final phase materializing in the company's financials as Q3 2022.
