Saudi imports from GCC hit SAR 6.6 bln in June; UAE accounts for 63%

Saudi Arabia’s imports from GCC countries rose 12% year-on-year (YoY) to SAR 6.6 billion in June, according to a recent report by the General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT). 

 

UAE accounted for 63%, or SAR 4.13 billion, of total Saudi imports, falling 9% YoY.

 

Compared with the previous month, the Kingdom’s imports from GCC declined 4%, or SAR 274.7 million.
