Saudi Arabia’s imports from GCC countries rose 13% year-on-year (YoY) to SAR 6.85 billion in August, according to a recent report of General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT).
The UAE accounted for 57%, or SAR 3.91 billion, of total Saudi imports, falling 3% YoY.
Compared with July 2022, the Kingdom’s imports from GCC fell by 5%, or SAR 430.1 million.
