Tourism Development Fund signs financing deal to build 5-star hotel in Aseer

The Tourism Development Fund (TDF) announced today, Dec. 3, signing a financing agreement with Nama o build a five-star hotel, to be managed by IHG, which is represented by the InterContinental brand. The project will have 163 hotel units that comprise 120 rooms and 43 villas. The project spans a total area of 18,000 square meters in Al Fara, Aseer.

 

The agreement was signed during Aseer Investment Forum, which was held from Dec. 2-3.

 

The project matches the best global standards, thanks to its strategic geographical location which is 22 kilometers away from Abha International Airport.

 

“The agreement comes in line with Tourism Development Fund’s focus on supporting tourism investment in Aseer and developing the infrastructure of target destinations, based on the National Tourism Strategy (NTS), CEO of TDF, Qusai AI-Fakhri, said.
