Omani Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion, Qais Al Yousef, said cooperation between Oman and Saudi Arabia, and the opening of the Empty Quarter Road contributed to increasing the trade exchange volume between both countries.

On the sidelines of the Saudi-Omani Investment Forum, Al Yousef added he hopes for a larger partnership between the two countries in different sectors.

The investment made by the Public Investment Fund (PIF) in the Omani private equity fund was a great support for bilateral relations and a point of strength for more investments.

Al Yousef affirmed that the Saudi Vision 2030 and Oman Vision 2040 aim to enable the private sector and encourage it to lead the economy.

Moreover, 13 agreements were signed between the Kingdom and Oman, topped by the one to finance the integrated economic zone in Al-Dhahirah Governorate in Oman.

The two sides also focused on supply chains and enhancing integration between the Saudi and Omani industries.
