US President Joe Biden to contest in 2024 elections

US President Joe Biden officially announced today, April 25, his candidacy for the 2024 US presidential elections, indicating that there is still work to be done to ensure American freedom.

 

"When I ran for president four years ago, I said we are in a battle for the soul of America. And we still are,” he said, adding, "This is not a time to be complacent. That is why I am running for re-election."

 

The 80-year-old president seeks to win the confidence of Americans grappling with high inflation or are worried about his ability to serve a second White House term.

 

Since taking office in 2020, Biden has managed to achieve many of his ambitious campaign goals with the help of the Democratic-controlled Congress in the first half of his term.
