Saudi courts hear 28,300 commercial cases in 1444 Hijri

Saudi courts received about 28,300 commercial cases against companies and institutions during the Hijri year 1444 (2022/2023), including financial disputes.

 

The average daily cases stood at 78, Al Eqtisadiah newspaper reported, citing statistics from the Ministry of Justice.

 

The Commercial Court in Riyadh carried out 11,250 cases, at nearly 40% of the total cases, while the Commercial Court in Jeddah received about 6,700 cases. The Commercial Court in Dammam heard nearly 5,240 cases, then Makkah (1,300 cases), and Madinah (1,200 cases).
