SARCO shareholders reject appointment of new audit committee member

Saudi Arabia Refineries Co.’s (SARCO) shareholders rejected the board of directors’ decision to appoint Abdul Rahman Al-Sultan, non-board member, as member of the audit committee from July 26 until the end of the current committee’s term on April 30, 2024. 

 

The rejection came during the ordinary general assembly meeting held on Aug. 30, according to a statement to Tadawul. 

 

Al-Sultan was replacement for former committee member Bassem Abu Al-Faraj (independent member), the statement added.
