Energy markets aim to reduce price volatility: Saudi minister

Minister of Energy, Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman, said global energy markets should focus on energy security, as it is the primary pillar for its sustainability.

“We do not target prices, but rather reduce volatility,” Prince Abdulaziz added at the World Petroleum Congress in Calgary, Canada.

OPEC’s behavior is not different from any central bank or a group of central banks.

Prince Abdulaziz expected the world to move from an energy crisis to another unless there is a good planning for supply chains.
