Cabinet approves governance of requests to change localization strategy

The Cabinet Meeting

The Cabinet approved the governance of requests to change the localization strategy, Umm Al-Qura newspaper reported on Oct. 27.

The governance is based on several pillars, including strategic direction and strategy implementation, and these pillars include several categories, most prominent of which are macroeconomic indicators, strategic objectives, as well as review of key performance indicators, and initiatives.

The governance determines the supporting bodies concerned with evaluating change requests, namely the Ministries of Economy and Planning and Human Resources and Social Development, the Non-Oil Revenue Development Center, the Local Content and Government Procurement Authority, the General Authority for Statistics, the Digital Transformation Unit/Digital Government Authority, and the National Center for Privatization, the Saudi Authority for Data and Artificial Intelligence, the Localization and Balance of Payments Office, and the National Center for Measuring the Performance of Public Agencies.
