Care gets license to operate Al-Malaz Hospital’s expansion

National Medical Care Co. obtained an operating license from the Ministry of Health to expand Care Medical Al-Malaz Hospital, bringing the bed capacity post-expansion to 459 beds and 62 clinics.

In a statement to Tadawul, the company said that the project is valued at SAR 100 million and the cost remains unchanged.

The delay was due to the completion of the necessary requirements to obtain licenses from the relevant authorities.

The delay had an impact on the company’s revenues, the statement added, noting that the positive impact on the company’s financial statements will begin starting from Q1 2024.

In 2015, Care announced the expansion and renewal of the Northern building at Al-Malaz Hospital at a total cost of SAR 100 million, Argaam reported earlier.
