Saudi Pharmaceutical Industries and Medical Appliances Corp.’s (SPIMACO) board of directors approved appointing Jérôme Cabannes as CEO, effective Feb. 20.

 

According to a statement to Tadawul, Cabannes holds a master’s degree in biomedical engineering from Paul Sabatier University, France. He also holds multiple certifications in Business Strategy & M&A from Oxford University and Cambridge Universities, UK.

 

With over 30 years of professional experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry, Cabannes has held leadership positions in Servier Group, BIOGARAN, Stago Group, France, and AJ Group before joining SPIMACO.

 

According to data available on Argaam, the company’s board appointed Cabannes as Acting CEO as of Oct. 1, 2023.
