Chemanol seals 20-year methanol supply deal with SATORP

Methanol Chemicals Co. (Chemanol) inked today, June 24, a 20-year agreement with Saudi Aramco Total Refining and Petrochemical Co. (SATORP) to provide 100,000 metric tons of methanol annually to the latter's Amiral project, according to a statement to Tadawul.
 
Commercial and supply operations will likely start by the end of 2027, the statement added.
 
 
The relevant financial impact is currently indeterminable due to the changing market conditions and product prices.
 
Chemanol will duly announce any relevant updates, it added.
