Health Minister Fahad Al-Jalajel said that Saudi Arabia's pharmaceutical sector has seen annual growth of about 10%, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

 

Al-Jalajel projected the sector’s market size to exceed SAR 72 billion by 2030, underscoring its rapid development within the G20 economies.

 

Speaking on Saudi Arabia’s participation in the G20 summit in Brazil, Al-Jalajel emphasized the Kingdom’s commitment to supporting global health efforts, noting that its participation underscores its leadership role in both the region and the world, as well as its international health sector prominence.
