Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Municipalities and Housing inked several strategic agreements at LEAP25 tech conference, focusing on digital solutions, innovation, and infrastructure development. The deals aim to boost investment in data centers and leverage municipal properties for new telecommunications towers.

 

Among the agreements, the ministry partnered with telecommunications tower company, TAWAL, to develop new cell towers on municipal land plot. Additionally, an agreement was signed with the National Housing Co. (NHC) to develop digital solutions and innovation.

 

The agreements also feature a collaboration between the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology aimed at enabling investment in data centers.
