Lana shareholders OK 50% bonus issue to raise capital

Shareholders of Lana Medical Co. greenlit the board of directors’ recommendation on a 50% capital increase from SAR 36 million to SAR 54 million by issuing a bonus share for every two shares held.

 

The decision came during the extraordinary general meeting (EGM) held on March 25.

In a statement to Tadawul, Lana said that fractional shares, if any, will be compiled in one portfolio and will be sold at market price. The proceeds will be distributed pro rata among eligible shareholders within 30 days.

The Saudi Exchange (Tadawul) announced the fluctuation limit for Lana’s stock will be calculated based on a price of SAR 29.75 today, March 26, with all outstanding orders being canceled.

 

The bonus shares will be deposited by the Securities Depository Center Co. (Edaa) into shareholder portfolios before the start of trade on April 3.
