Aslak appoints Khaled Alkhuwaiter as Chairman

United Wire Factories Co.’s (Aslak) newly elected board of directors appointed Khaled Alkhuwaiter as Chairman, and Rashid Bin Awain as Vice Chairman during its meeting on April 13.

According to a statement to Tadawul today, April 14, the board also approved the formation of committees, appointed a board secretary, and designated the company’s representatives to the Capital Market Authority (CMA) and Tadawul.

The committees formed included the audit committee, consisting of three members; the nomination and remuneration committee, also comprising three members; and the executive committee, which includes four members.

Additionally, the board appointed Nabeel Alameer as board secretary.

The company’s representatives were designated for all regulatory purposes with the CMA and Tadawul in accordance with applicable laws, the Companies Law, its implementing regulations, and the Rules on the Offer of Securities and Continuing Obligations.
