HCI conference sees 100 deals worth over SAR 8.5B

The second edition of the Human Capability Initiative (HCI) Conference saw the launch and signing of over 100 initiatives and agreements, totaling more than SAR 8.5 billion, across various sectors focused on developing human capabilities.

 

According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the conference underscored that achieving sustainable human development and meaningful impact requires cross-sector collaboration. It reaffirmed the importance of community engagement and strategic coordination among governments, the private sector, academic institutions, and the non-profit sector.

 

During the event, the Minister of Commerce—who also serves as Chair of the Economic and Social Committee of the Saudi Arabia-UK Strategic Partnership Council—launched the Future Skills Initiative. This initiative seeks to facilitate the exchange of best practices and expertise to cultivate future skills across 13 promising sectors. It involves the participation of 40 officials and 100 business leaders from both Saudi Arabia and the United Kingdom.
