Amwaj CEO resigns, Mahdi Khlifawi to take helm

Amwaj International Co.’s board of directors approved the resignation of CEO Nayef Al-Zahrani today, April 27, effective April 30, citing unavailability as the reason.

 

The real estate developer also appointed Mahdi Khlifawi as the new CEO, effective May 1, according to a statement to Tadawul.

Khlifawi brings 27 years of experience in management, operations, and sales. His career includes several managerial and leadership roles, starting as Factory Manager at Watar Trading Co. in Damascus from 1978 to 1993, followed by similar roles at Al-Fadl and Al-Sultan in the Industrial Zone from 1993 to 1997, and at Al-Barakah for Polystyrene from 1997 to 2000.

 

He has been serving as Deputy CEO of Amwaj International since 2007, contributing to improving operational processes and supporting the company's strategic growth. He is distinguished by his deep expertise in sales management and achieving strategic objectives, according to the company.
