3 stations launch ops on Riyadh Metro Orange Line

The Royal Commission for Riyadh City (RCRC) launched today, May 10, the official operations of Al-Malaz, Al Rajhi Mosue and Khashm Al-An on the Riyadh Metro Orange Line.

 

The Orange Line stretches from East Riyadh to West Riyadh, with a total length of 41 kilometers. It spans from Jeddah Road in the west to the Second Eastern Ring Road, passing along the Khashm Al-An district.

 

In late November 2024, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud inaugurated the Riyadh Metro project, which has a total length of 176 kilometers and 85 stations, according to Argaam data.

 

The lines opened in phases, with the first (Blue), fourth (Yellow), and sixth (Purple) lines starting operations on Dec. 1, 2024. The second (Red) and fifth (Green) lines followed on Dec. 15, 2024, and the third (Orange) line on Jan. 5, 2025.
