I Squared Capital, a global infrastructure investment firm, signed a non-binding memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF) to develop a regional infrastructure investment strategy.

The agreement aims to accelerate investment in key infrastructure sectors, increase foreign direct investment into Saudi Arabia, and support the Kingdom’s efforts to become a global hub for capital and innovation.

PIF intends to strengthen regional and global market connectivity by leveraging I Squared Capital’s global platform and sector expertise.

The MoU supports PIF’s initiatives to grow Saudi Arabia’s financial markets and expand international asset management activities from within the Kingdom.

I Squared Capital plans to open a Riyadh office in 2025 to pursue opportunities in energy transition, digital innovation, infrastructure, and financial market development.
