Shareholders of Arabian Shield Cooperative Insurance Co. approved the board’s recommendation to withhold dividends for 2024, during the ordinary general meeting (OGM) held on May 26, according to a statement to Tadawul.

Other agenda items were further ratified, the statement added.

 

The Saudi insurer’s board proposed in March to freeze the dividend payment to strengthen financial position and solvency in addition to financing development plans.
