Equipment House unit gets SAR 61.2M from NUPCO

Scientific and Medical Equipment House Co.’s (Equipment House) wholly owned subsidiary, Roaa Al Hymaya Co. (Protecta Visions), received on May 27 a sum of SAR 61.2 million, representing the full amount awarded by the Appeals Court against National Unified Procurement Co. (NUPCO), according to a statement to Tadawul.

The company ruled out any delay, adding that it will duly disclose any relevant updates.

 

There is no change in the costs associated with the event, the statement noted.

 

The relevant financial impact will likely appear on Q2 2025 financial statements.

 

According to data available with Argaam, Equipment House said in February that the Third Circuit of the Court of Appeals at the Commercial Court in Riyadh upheld the initial ruling in a lawsuit filed by Protecta Visions against NUPCO.

 

The court had ordered NUPCO to pay SAR 60.57 million, as well as SAR 135,000 for expert fees, and SAR 500,000 for attorney’s fees.
