Al-Jouf Agricultural secures license to produce winter fodder seeds

Al-Jouf Agricultural Development Co. obtained the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture’s (MEWA) license to produce and propagate winter fodder seeds, according to a statement to Tadawul.

 

The license, valid for two years as of May 29, 2025, is subject to meeting the conditions, controls, and requirements of the ministry and other relevant authorities.

The move aligns with the Saudi-listed company's expansion plans and its contribution to achieving self-sufficiency in winter fodder seed production.

 

This direction helps boost local food security, in line with MEWA's strategy that stems from Saudi Vision 2030, the statement added.
