Al Sagr wins auto insurance mandate from Al Miftah Car Rental

Al Sagr Cooperative Insurance Co. received a firm order from Al Miftah Car Rental Co. for a vehicle insurance contract worth over 5% of its total gross written premiums (GWP) in 2024, according to a Tadawul filing.

 

The agreement covers comprehensive commercial auto insurance for Al Miftah’s fleet and is valid from July 1, 2025, to June 30, 2026.

Al Sagr confirmed the contract was signed on June 11, 2025. No preferential treatment was granted and the deal was part of its normal course of business.

 

The insurer expects a positive financial impact in 2025, the statement said, adding that there are no related parties to the deal.

 

Al Sagr reported SAR 601.79 million in GWP for 2024 based on audited figures, according to Argaam’s data.
