Israel strikes Iran's Arak heavy water reactor

Israel carried out strikes on Iran’s Arak heavy water reactor, marking its latest attack on the country’s nuclear program.

 

Iran’s state television confirmed there was no radiation risk and that the facility had been evacuated prior to the strike.

 

The attack followed Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei’s rejection of US calls to surrender, along with his warning against any military intervention by the United States.
