Trump 'open' to Putin mediating Iran-Israel conflict

US President Donald Trump on Sunday expressed his “openness” to Russian President Vladimir Putin playing a mediation role in the conflict between Iran and Israel.

 

Trump stressed that there is “no deadline” for Iran to return to the negotiating table, according to a report by ABC News journalist Rachel Scott on Sunday morning.

 

"No, there's no deadline. But they are talking. They'd like to make a deal. They're talking. They continue to talk," the President said, referring to Iran.
