Kremlin says US use of nuclear weapon against Iran would be catastrophic

Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov warned that any potential use of nuclear weapons by the US against Iran would be a catastrophe.

Peskov made the remarks on Friday in response to what he described as media speculation, without providing further details, according to Russia's state news agency TASS.

This comes after The Guardian reported that Pentagon officials reviewed reports suggesting that destroying Iran’s Fordow facility might require the use of a tactical nuclear weapon following a conventional strike.
