Heavy smoke seen at Iran’s Mehrabad Airport

Heavy some and fire were seen rising at Mehrabad Airport in Tehran on Saturday, according to an AFP correspondent, while local media reported an explosion in the area.

 

Iran’s ISNA news agency aired a video showing dense smoke billowing from the airport area in western Tehran, while Mehr News Agency reported that an “explosion” had occurred at the site.
