Khamenei warns of severe consequences for any US strike

Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei warned that any US military strike would have “severe and irreparable consequences,” adding that the Islamic Republic will never surrender, according to Tasnim News Agency.

 

Referring to recent threats by US President Donald Trump, Khamenei said, “Those familiar with Iran’s history know that Iranians do not respond to the language of threats.”

 

His remarks come after Trump threatened to escalate the conflict in the Middle East by targeting Iran’s top leadership and demanded unconditional surrender from Tehran.
