Trump warns of stronger US response to any Iranian retaliation

US President Donald Trump warned on Sunday that any retaliatory move by Iran following American strikes would be met with significantly greater force.

 

“Any retaliation by Iran against the United States of America will be met with force far greater than what was witnessed tonight,” Trump wrote in a post on Truth Social early Sunday.

 

His remarks came hours after the US military launched airstrikes targeting three major nuclear sites in Iran, using six bunker-busting bombs dropped by B-2 bombers and 30 Tomahawk cruise missiles.

 

In a televised address later in the day, Trump said the strikes had completely destroyed the nuclear facilities. He added that if Tehran does not choose peace, it will face even stronger attacks, noting that “future attacks would be far greater and a lot easier.”
