Israeli emergency authorities reported that the missile attacks launched by Iran on Friday evening resulted in at least 17 injuries, while an Iranian diplomatic official confirmed that the Israeli aggression has left hundreds injured.
In a briefing to CNN, the emergency service stated that the attacks caused two severe injuries, with two others sustaining moderate wounds.
The service added that reports from hospitals individually suggested the possibility of dozens more injured individuals who have not yet been included in the official tally.
The authorities also revealed that three hospitals reported treating a total of 40 injured individuals.
On the other hand, Iran's Ambassador to the United Nations confirmed that the Israeli attacks have led to the deaths of 78 people, including senior military officials, and have injured more than 320 individuals, most of whom are civilians.
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) issued a statement announcing that its missile strikes on Israel targeted military centers and airbases, using precision-guided missiles and smart missile systems to strike key Israeli sites involved in the aggression against Iran.
