US President Donald Trump again raised the possibility of the US joining Israel’s military campaign against Iran.
He shared a video on Truth Social in which he speaks about potentially striking Iran “within the next two weeks.”
“Only time will tell,” Trump wrote in his post.
The clip, originally from Fox News, features political analyst Marc Thiessen discussing Trump’s determination to stop Iran’s nuclear program, either by force or negotiations.
Thiessen described the moment as Iran’s “last chance,” referencing the two-week deadline Trump set to decide on launching a strike.
Trump’s post came ahead of a National Security Council meeting at the White House to weigh possible US participation in Israeli attacks on Iran’s nuclear sites.
On Thursday, Trump said he would decide within two weeks whether to authorize a strike, and added on Friday that he might act before the deadline.
The US is the only country with bunker-buster bombs powerful enough to reach Iran’s Fordow nuclear facility, its most fortified site.
Reuters reported Saturday that B-2 bombers have been moved to Guam, signaling growing chances of direct US involvement.
The B-2 can carry the 30,000-pound GBU-57 bomb, designed to destroy deep underground targets like Fordow.
