Trump denies Iran strike plans, criticizes WSJ

Donald Trump rejected a Wall Street Journal report saying he approved plans for strikes on Iran, claiming the paper knows “nothing” about his position on the Israel-Iran conflict.

 

“The Wall Street Journal has No Idea what my thoughts are concerning Iran!” he wrote on June 19, on Truth Social.

 

The WSJ report, published late Wednesday, cited sources saying Trump had informed top aides he approved the attack plans but was delaying the final order to see if Iran would drop its nuclear program.
