Iran TV announces ceasefire after missile strikes on Israel

24/06/2025 Argaam

Iran’s state television announced on Tuesday that a ceasefire has officially taken effect in its conflict with Israel, even as Israeli officials warned of the potential for renewed missile attacks from Tehran.

Earlier in the day, at least three people were killed and eight others injured following a missile attack launched by Iran on Israel. No additional attacks have been reported at this time.

US President Donald Trump stated that Iran and Israel had agreed to a full and comprehensive ceasefire shortly after Iran launched a limited missile strike on a US military base in Qatar on Monday in retaliation for the US airstrikes on Iran’s nuclear sites.

However, the Israeli government so far has not formally acknowledged or confirmed Trump’s announcement regarding the ceasefire agreement.
