Elected US President, Donald Trump
President Donald Trump said the US strike pushed back Iran’s nuclear program by decades, describing the operation as a strategic achievement.
When asked if the US would strike again should Iran rebuilt nuclear development, Trump replied, “Sure,” Reuters reported.
On the sidelines of the NATO summit in The Hague today, June 25, Trump said the ceasefire between Iran and Israel was “promising, viewing it as a significant victory for all parties involved”.
Addressing reports that US strikes only delayed Iran’s nuclear program by a few months, Trump dismissed the assessments, suggesting that intelligence officials were uncertain about the actual impact.
