The Kremlin believes it is too early to form a realistic picture of the extent of the damage caused to Iran’s nuclear facilities by the US airstrikes.
This came in a statement by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov today, June 25, in response to a question about former President Donald Trump's assessment that the US attack had completely destroyed Iran’s nuclear program, according to Reuters.
Peskov described the attacks on Iran as unjustified, calling the situation alarming.
He also noted that Moscow has indications that communication channels between Washington and Tehran remain open, adding that Russia is closely monitoring developments and maintaining dialogue with Iran.
