SISCO Holding says CEO resigns

Sustained Infrastructure Holding Co.’s (SISCO Holding) said that its board of directors accepted the resignation of CEO Khalid Suleimani, effective June 30, citing personal reasons and a mutual agreement between both parties.

 

In a statement to Tadawul today, July 6, the company said Suleimani has been appointed as an advisor to SISCO Holding, effective July 1. He will also continue to serve on the boards of the company’s subsidiaries to leverage his extensive experience and sector knowledge.

The company noted that Suleimani served as CEO during a period marked by the implementation of several key development initiatives and institutional transformations. He contributed to supporting the company’s strategic direction and strengthening its organizational structure and governance practices.

 

According to Argaam data, Suleimani served as CEO of SISCO Holding from Nov. 1, 2022.

 

In a separate statement, the company said its board of directors, via circular resolution dated July 4, approved the appointment of Saleh Hefni as Managing Director (Executive Board Member), effective July 1.

 

Hefni holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Cogswell University in San Francisco, US, and a master’s degree in human resources from the University of Strathclyde in Scotland.

 

According to the statement, Hefni brings over 35 years of experience in the engineering, industrial, and management sectors, with specialized expertise in corporate structuring and business development.

 

Throughout his career, he held several leadership positions, including Managing Director and CEO of SISCO Holding from 1999 to 2007.

 

He also served as Managing Director and CEO of Halwani Bros. in both Saudi Arabia and Egypt from 2007 to 2019 and as CEO of OMACO from 2019 to 2024.

 

Hefni has been a member of the board of directors at SISCO Holding since 1998. He also serves on the boards and committees of several group companies and is currently a member of the investment committee of the board.
