Commercial registers for AI technologies up 34% in Q2: Commerce Ministry

The Ministry of Commerce announced that the number of commercial registers issued in the field of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies rose by 34% to 14,400 by the end of Q2 2025, compared to 10,700 registers in the same period a year ago.

 

Riyadh topped the list of regions in terms of issued AI commercial registers, with 8,909 registers during the three-month period, the ministry added.

 

Makkah came second with 2,802 registers, followed by the Eastern Province at 1,502, then Madinah and Qassim, with 424 and 191 registers, respectively, it added.
