Maaden CFO steps down; interim named

Saudi Arabian Mining Co. (Maaden) said CFO Louis Irvine plans to retire and will step down from his role on Aug. 8, 2025.

 

The Nomination and Remuneration Committee appointed Saulat Sultan as acting CFO effective the same day to ensure continuity.

Irvine served as CFO since May 2022 and played a key role in shaping the company’s financial strategy and boosting performance.

 

Sultan has over 20 years of global experience in investment banking and corporate finance, with senior roles at Aramco, Credit Suisse, Moody’s, and Shell.

 

Maaden launched a formal search for a permanent CFO and is considering internal and external candidates.
