Edaa deposits ACWA Power’s subscribed shares

The Securities Depository Center Co. (Edaa) deposited, today, July 30, ACWA Power Co.’s subscribed securities into the accounts of eligible shareholders, according to a statement to Tadawul.
 
As many as 32.65 million new shares were subscribed to, out of nearly 33.93 million shares, with 96.2% coverage, while the remaining offering was 592% oversubscribed.
The company offered 33.93 million ordinary shares at SAR 210 each as part of a SAR 7.13 billion rights issue. The capital increase will raise ACWA Power’s capital by 4.63%, from SAR 7.32 billion (732.56 million shares) to SAR 7.66 billion (766.49 million shares).
