Lana wins SAR 1.7M project with Prison Health Administration

Lana Medical Co. won a SAR 1.67 million contract for the safe disposal of hazardous medical waste at health centers affiliated with the General Administration of Prison Health.

The project will run for 36 months from the handover date, following the contract's signing and approval by the Ministry of Finance, in accordance with the project documents, specifications, and bill of quantities.

In a statement to Tadawul, Lana said the project marks a key step in its strategy to expand integrated waste management solutions within the healthcare sector.

The company will execute the project with a focus on improving environmental service quality, applying global best practices in waste management, supporting national initiatives to reduce pollution and promote public health, and advancing sustainability by minimizing the environmental impact of transportation and disposal operations.

The financial impact is expected to appear starting in the fourth quarter of 2025, the statement added.

The project reflects Lana's ability to implement major projects within healthcare facilities according to the highest technical and operational standards.

This award is an extension of the company’s strategy to strengthen its leadership in the environmental services sector in the Kingdom and to contribute effectively to achieving the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 in the field of environmental sustainability, Lana said.
