US natural gas inventories rose by 48 billion cubic feet (bcf) in the week ended July 25, above the expected increase of 36 bcf.
The US Energy Information Administration reported today, July 31, that total natural gas inventories were 3.8% less than the same period last year, but remained 6.7% above the five-year average of 2.92 trillion cubic feet.
